During this off-season, the leadership has been looking to find coaching support to help continue the strong culture and strategy that Schwa has been developing over the last couple of seasons.
We are happy to announce that we have found great people to join the team:
Matt Melius
Returning for his second season as a coach, and first season as head coach, Matt brings a massive wealth of club ultimate leadership and playing experience, and brought a great new perspective to strategy and practicing last season.
We're excited to have Matt back again leading the charge.
Bonnie Melius
Bonnie started playing ultimate in college, and is herself a Schwa alumna (2010)! She has experience in analyzing and developing team dynamics, managing personnel, and cultivating positive team culture.
Angela Tocchi
Angela started playing ultimate in middle school, played at the University of Oregon, and has coached middle school, high school, and college for several years. She is particularly excited about analyzing defensive matchups, finding tweaks to improve our strategy, and working to figure out winning combinations with line-calling to maximize efficiency!
