This past Wednesday, various members of the Portland Ultimate community gathered to join in a gender equity discussion created in the wake of the Upwind Ultimate tour that came through Portland several months ago.
The group discussion, lead by Schwa player Kristen Rosenblum and Freeland Church, a leadership member of Portland's Natural 20's, was based on generating ideas on how to make the Portland mixed ultimate scene one that better retains members and is inviting to new ones.
